What is “Flip Cup”? Is it the same as Beer Bong or different?
No. They are very different. Flip cup is a two team relay race where each team has between 3 and 6 members, each with a plastic (solo) cup with approximately 1/4 of a beer in it. The two teams will designate who is starting then the object is to consume your beer, the put your now empty cup on the edge of the table and flip it over, so that it lands on the open end of the cup. If you miss, you grab your cup and flip again. Once the first person completes their flip, the next person can start drinking their beer. This drinking and flipping continues till every member of one of the teams has successfully consumed their beer and flipped their cups. It is usually played in a series. Best of 5 or 7. I hope this makes sense.
