The Importance of Chilled Beer and Beer Collers
Of course there is a serious side to beer drinking, no-one is disputing that. Keeping your beer cold in the right beer chiller is a very serious business indeed. But there is also the lighter side of lager.
We all encourage safe and responsible drinking and would never condone law breaking in anyway but you do have to have a quiet chuckle at the story of a four year old boy who took the whole idea of underage drinking to a new level.
Apparently the little boy managed to get the beer out of his Grandfather’s beer chiller, pop the top and consume enough to make him giddy. He then broke the safety lock on the front door and escaped into the night. He was eventually found swaying on a nearby street, clothed in a dress stolen from under a neighbor’s Christmas tree. There is no word on whether he was singing Christmas carols.
His mother had this to say about how the adventure started out with a beer in the boy’s hand ” He got it out of my father’s cooler in the back and how he got it open I don’t understand because it was one of those tab beers.”
An enterprising young chap, indeed but perhaps a lock on the beer chiller may prevent a slightly amusing tale becoming something more tragic next time.
Now we all know that the best answer to ice cold beer right when we need it is a well stacked beer chillers. But for those of us that fail to plan ahead and really need a cold one right now, someone has come up with a manually operated beer chiller that will have you sipping in 90 seconds.
There is only room for one can but, hey, in an emergency that is enough. You place the can in the compartment and use the crank handle to produce intense cold to ‘snap’ chill the can. once that is done you can sit back and enjoy your one cold can while the rest of the case chills in a more traditional way in your regular beer chillers.
Hopefully when you chose your beer cooler you chose one that is up to the job of getting your beer cold in the time it takes you to complete that beer or at a push, two of them. As we all know there is absolutely nothing worse than trying to choke down a warm beer.
