How To Be A Real Tough Guy
Hey guys, wake up! If you think that donning a black leather jacket and a black helmet and throwing your leg over a lean, mean street machine makes you a tough guy, you’re just wrong. We’ve all seen these posers, the ones who are just fat and out of shape under their tough guy gear.
A mean looking tattoo isn’t going to help you, anymore than having the baddest motorbike in town is. Stop fooling yourself and get in shape. That’s the only way you’re going to impress anybody. Work out and let your real muscle growth show the world who you really are.
Now that you’ve been shocked into the realization that you’re not impressing anyone, it’s time to do something about it. You’ll probably find that getting on a regular workout schedule will not only make you look better, it will make you feel better, too.
Especially if you’ve never done any weight training or other physical training before, you’re going to need a personal trainer to help you in the beginning. Far too many people get inspired for a day and sign up at a gym. Then they stop when they don’t see results after a couple of weeks. Your personal fitness instructor will be able to teach you the right way to work out and the right foods to eat. He’ll also motivate you to stick with your program.
Let’s get real: a steady diet of potato chips and beer while sitting in front of the TV watching Conan the Barbarian or Kung Fu Fighters isn’t going to get you fit. Are you really naive enough to believe that Arnie, Jackie and Chuck got fit that way? Of course not. They worked out and worked out hard.
How you work out is up to you, but you really should get a specialist trainer to help you. If you’re into martial arts, go to a martial arts studio and commit to it. If weight training appeals to you, get a pro to help you get started. Don’t think that watching a DVD is going to teach you anything. The only way to get real results is to put in real effort.
This might all sound very negative, but the goal is positive. Working out gives benefits way beyond just looking good. You’ll find that your self esteem will also soar. Fitness and a healthy lifestyle will open doors for you in life that you won’t believe until it happens.
Do it! Get off the couch, turn off the television, get on your Harley and cruise down to the gym. Remember – get serious and get a fitness coach to help you.
