what’s your favorite beer on tap?
I’m thinking of getting a kegerator, and I want some opinions.
I have thoughts already, but I figured this would be easier than trying every beer in the world
Almost unbelievably, someone else shares my exact thought.
I agree with RADICAL BREWING above. Pliny the Elder is the best beer I’ve ever tasted on tap (hence my use of the name as my alias). And I’ve tasted quite a few, including Dogfish Head 90-minute hand-pulled from a cask. I’ve also had the stronger version, Pliny the Younger, but the Elder has it beat. It has them all beat.
Chimay Blue is great, but I’ve never even heard of it being on tap. I have never heard of any trappist beers being on tap, for that matter. But I could be wrong I guess.
Since the best beer is almost always from micro-breweries, what would be most helpful to you is to mention your region, and I could then point you to beers that would be more geographically available to you, if I’ve tried them.
