Where are the best alternative/indie/hipster places to drink and shop in Orlando, Florida?
I have recently moved to Orlando and am yet to find the cool places to hang out and shop. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of the best areas or even blogs written by people in Orlando that like vintage clothing, indie music and beer.
Try the “Drunken Monkey” on Bumby Avenue if you like tea, coffee, or decent soups and sandwiches. Their soups are terrific, and you have a choice of vegan, vegetarian, or seafood/meat. It is my favorite coffee shop.
Try searching through the Orlando Weekly newspaper. You can find it free at most coffee shops in the area. It lists plenty of indie and alternative bars, concerts, and other venues. You can also search their online website for events and reviews.
